Trans-Africa Projects (TAP), is a specialist High Voltage Services consulting company which was established in 1995 as a joint venture between Fluor and Eskom.
We celebrate more than 30 years of success in providing a unique value proposition around the world because of our association and access to Eskom and Fluor intellectual property.

To provide engineering services; engineering consulting, project management, commissioning, construction management solutions, asset management, engineering audits and training.
Our consulting and EPCM services include Power System Consulting, Engineering Design for power lines and substations inclusive of primary and control plant, Project Management and Construction Supervision.
Within our specialised services, we also offer electrical infrastructure audits, earthing studies, electromagnetic modelling, system and protection fault investigations. We also supply tower mechanical and electrical testing and renewable energy grid integration infrastructure design and grid compliance.
We remain the leader in providing local and international high voltage transmission, sub-transmission, distribution and electrification projects, ranging from 11 kV to 765 kV.
As corporate citizens, we are dedicated to investing our time in skills development initiatives. We achieve this through in-house learning opportunities, bursaries and further support for the growth of smaller businesses.
We aim to continuously “Power the Future”. This is achieved by combining our own skills and experience with the technical and engineering know-how of Eskom and the globally competitive engineering, construction, site supervision and project management expertise from Fluor.

We currently hold ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 with Intertek certification Limited , a UKAS accreditation body.
Our offices are situated in Johannesburg (Head Office), Durban, Cape Town and Maputo in Mozambique. With representation in most sub-Saharan African countries and South East Asia.
